Quick Cinnamon Rolls
Quick Cinnamon Rolls is an moderately easy baked good you can prepare in about 2 hours. Made with warm water, yeast, warm milk, sugar and salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.
Soak yeast in warm water.
Pour milk over sugar and salt. Add yeast stir in shortening, eggs and 2 cups flour.
Cover.
Let rise 15 minutes.
Stir in rest of flour.
Knead lightly.
Divide dough in half.
Roll out on flour surface into a thin circle. Spread dough with softened butter, brown sugar, nuts, raisins and cinnamon.
Roll up and slice about 1 inch thick.
Let rise 20 minutes in pans.
Bake at 425Β°.
Minutes.
Frost with icing made with butter, milk and powdered sugar.
