Quick Chunk Pickles
Quick Chunk Pickles is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 quart plus 1/2 cup vinegar, 2 1/2 cups water, 5 cups sugar, 1/4 cup salt and 2 tbsp. celery seed, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.
Mix all ingredients and boil for five minutes.
Pack your pickle chunks into pint jars.
Pour the juice over and fill jars leaving 1/2 inch of space at top of jar.
Wash off the top of the jar and put lid and ring on jar.
Put into canner and cover jars with hot water.
Make sure they boil for five minutes.
Take jars out of canner and put on dry cloth to cool.
Makes about 10 pints.
