Quick Chocolate Brittle
Quick Chocolate Brittle is an easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. raw peanuts, 3/4 c. packed brown sugar, 1/2 c. butter and 1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet morsels, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Simple to make and full of bold, satisfying flavors.
Lightly grease 9-inch square pan.
Sprinkle peanuts into pan and set aside.
Combine brown sugar and butter in medium saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture reaches 270Β° on candy thermometer.
Immediately pour over peanuts in pan. Sprinkle chocolate morsels over top.
Cover with aluminum foil for 2 minutes.
Remove foil and spread melted chocolate over top. Chill until firm.
Remove candy from pan and break into pieces.
