Quick Chili
Quick Chili is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 large onion, chopped, 1 clove garlic, crushed, 1 green bell pepper, shredded, 2 tbsp. butter and 1 lb. lean ground beef, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

In a big saucepan, saute onion, garlic and green pepper in butter for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add beef and saute for 1 minute (until beef is brown) the spoon out excess fat.
Add chili powder, water, tomatoes, bay leaf, salt, cumin and cayenne. Bring to boil.
Add beans and simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
