Quick Chili
Quick Chili is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 tbsp. shortening, 1/2 c. chopped onion, 1 green pepper, chopped, 1 lb. ground beef and 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed tomato soup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Melt shortening in heavy skillet.
Add onion; cook until brown.
Add ground beef; brown.
Stir often so there will be no lumps of meat.
Add pepper, tomato soup, salt, chili powder, black and red pepper and kidney beans.
Heat mixture thoroughly; serve piping hot.
Serves 6.
