Made with 2 eggs, 3/4 c. water, 2 (6 oz.) gladiola buttermilk biscuit mix or 2 c. bisquick, 1 tsp. dry mustard and 1 1/2 c. grated sharp cheddar cheese, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Heat oven to 350Β°.

Grease an 8 x 4 x 2-inch loaf pan.

Beat eggs in a large bowl. Stir in water. Add biscuit mix and beat. Add mustard and 1 cup cheese.

Mix thoroughly.

Turn batter into pan. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and dot with butter. Bake 45 minutes. Cool in pan 15 minutes.

Remove and cool on rack before slicing.

Serve sliced, buttered and toasted with a green salad, soup or chili.

Also makes delicious croutons.

This bread will freeze well.
