Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 12 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled, 4 eggs, 2 c. half and half, 1/4 tsp. salt and 1/8 tsp. ground nutmeg, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.

Sprinkle crumbled bacon in pie crust.
In a bowl, beat eggs, half and half, salt and nutmeg.
Stir in cheese.
Pour into crust. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 325° for 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted near the center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
Makes 6 servings.
