Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with pastry for single crust 9-inch pie, 12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled, 4 oz. shredded natural swiss cheese, 1 c. minced onion and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 425°.
Prepare the pastry.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in the pastry lined pie pan.
Beat eggs lightly and blend in cream, salt, sugar and pepper.
Pour mixture into pie pan.
Bake 15 minutes at 425° then reduce heat to 300° and bake 30 minutes later.
Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
