Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 pastry for 9-inch single crust, 12 slices crispy crumbled bacon, 1 c. shredded swiss cheese (4 oz. natural cheese), 1/2 c. minced onion and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Heat oven to 425°.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion on pastry lined pie pan.
Beat eggs and blend in remaining ingredients. Pour onto pie pan on top of first 3 ingredients.
Bake 15 minutes, then reduce oven to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife comes out clean.
Let pie stand 10 minutes before serving.
Makes 6 main dish slices.
