Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with pastry for 9-inch pie crust, 12 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled, 1 c. swiss cheese, shredded, 1/3 c. minced onion and 4 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. An easy weeknight meal that comes together quickly.
Heat oven to 425°.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry lined pie pan.
Beat eggs slightly; beat in remaining ingredients. Pour cream mixture into pie pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
Reduce oven temperature to 300° and bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve in wedges.
