Quiche Lorraine
Quiche Lorraine is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell (at least 1 1/2 inch in depth), 1 (1 lb.) pkg. bacon, 4 eggs, 2 c. light cream and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Preheat oven to 425°.
Cut bacon into 1-inch pieces.
Cook until crisp; drain.
Combine eggs, cream and seasonings.
Beat until well blended.
Sprinkle bacon over bottom of pastry shell, then cheese.
Pour egg/cream mixture over cheese.
Bake 10 minutes.
Reduce heat to 325°.
Bake 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
Makes 6 main dish or 12 appetizer size servings.
