Punch Bowl Cake
Punch Bowl Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 large pound cake (i.e., sara lee), 2 pkg. frozen strawberries with juice, 2 cans crushed pineapple, some bananas for slicing and 2 pkg. instant vanilla pudding, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.
Make instant pudding.
Put aside and allow to gel.
Slice pound cake.
Layer ingredients in punch bowl in following order: pound cake, strawberries with some juice, crushed pineapple with some juice, spoon some pudding over the pineapple and place banana slices over pudding.
Continue making layers until within 2 to 3 inches of top of bowl.
Fill in top space with Cool Whip.
Garnish with sliced cherries and pecan halves.
