Pumpkin Dream Bars
Pumpkin Dream Bars is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 2 hours 20 minutes. Made with c. (1 stick) margarine, softened, c. sugar, c. oats (quick or old fashion), c. flour and (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
Beat margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add combined oats and flour; mix well.
Spread evenly onto bottom of a prepared pan.
Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool slightly.
Beat cream cheese and sugar at medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Add remaining ingredients; mix until smooth.
Pour over partly cooled crust.
Bake an additional 45 to 50 minutes or until center appears set.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
Chill; serve with whipped cream, if desired.
Makes 20 bars.
