Cream together first 4 ingredients.
Sift together next 4 ingredients.
Add to creamed mixture and then add vanilla.
Mix all ingredients well.
Bake in a greased 9 x 12-inch pan for 45 to 55 minutes in a 350Β° oven.
Can be baked in two 9-inch pans for 30 to 35 minutes.
Cool and ice.
