Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 4 eggs, 2/3 c. crisco, 1 lb. can pumpkin pie filling, 3 1/2 c. sifted flour and 2 2/3 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Preheat oven to 350Β°.
Butter 2 loaf pans.
Beat eggs; mix in shortening and 2/3 cup of water.
Stir in pumpkin pie filling, salt and spices.
Stir this in pumpkin mixture, using wire whisk. Pour into loaf pans.
Bake for 65 minutes until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool on racks in pans.
Remove when cool.
Serves 6.
