Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Bread is an impressive dinner. Made with 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, 2 tsp. baking soda, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. ground cloves and 1 tsp. ground cinnamon, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Heat oven to 350Β°.
Grease 2 (9 x 5 x 3-inch) loaf pans.
Blend flour, baking soda, salt, cloves, cinnamon and baking powder.
Set aside.
In a large mixer bowl, cream butter or margarine with sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in eggs, pumpkin and water.
Mix well.
Blend in dry ingredients until mixture is smooth.
Stir in nuts and raisins.
Divide batter evenly between the two prepared pans.
Bake for 65 to 75 minutes or until tests done.
Cool in pans for 10 to 15 minutes.
Remove from pans.
Cool on wire racks.
