Pull Taffy
Pull Taffy is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. table syrup (molasses), 2 tbsp. vinegar, 1/4 tsp. salt, 3/4 c. sugar and 1 tbsp. butter, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Boil syrup, sugar and vinegar to a hard ball stage (265Β°). Remove from the heat.
Add butter, baking soda and salt.
Stir only enough to blend.
Pour onto a buttered cookie sheet.
Butter hands when able to handle.
Start pulling and folding until taffy turns white and becomes hard to pull.
Pull taffy into one long twisted strand, about 1-inch diameter.
Cut with scissors into bite size pieces.
