Prune Cake

Cream together butter, sugar, eggs and buttermilk. Set aside. Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and spices.
Add flour mixture to the first 4 ingredients; mix well. Add prunes, vanilla and nuts. Blend well and pour into pan of choice. Bake at 350Β° until done.
