Prune Cake
Prune Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 1 1/2 c. prunes, torn into small pieces, 1 1/2 c. sugar, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. salt and 1/3 c. shortening or margarine, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Cream shortening and sugar.
Add egg yolks, buttermilk, prunes and flour, spices, baking powder, baking soda and salt add to other mixture.
