Prune Cake
Prune Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. sifted flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tbsp. nutmeg and 1 tbsp. allspice, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.
Sift flour, salt and spices together and set aside.
In a large bowl, beat together oil, sugar and eggs; add vanilla.
Add dry ingredients; add buttermilk, soda, prunes and nuts.
Pour into ungreased 9-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350Β° for 1 hour.
About 15 minutes before cake is done, prepare glaze. Pour hot glaze immediately over cake in pan.
When cool, remove.
