Beat sugar, cooking oil, eggs and buttermilk together.
Then add flour, salt, baking soda, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, prunes and nuts.
Bake in loaf pan at 325Β° for about 40 minutes. As you take out of oven, pour glaze mixture over cake. (Pierce top of cake first, gently).
