Sift flour, sugar, salt and spices into mixing bowl.

Add oil and buttermilk.

Mix and add eggs; dissolve soda in mashed prunes and fold into batter.

Mix in nuts and vanilla.

Bake in 350Β° oven in tube pans about 45 minutes or 2 (9-inch) layer pans for 30 to 35 minutes, or until tested done.

Pans are to be greased and floured.

Frost with Raisin Pecan Frosting.
