Prune Cake

Combine sugar
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix dry ingredients.
Add to mixture, alternately with buttermilk and blend well.
Add vanilla. Fold in chopped nuts and prunes. Pour into greased pan and bake at 300Β° about 30 or 40 minutes.
