Pronto Pups
Pronto Pups is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. self-rising flour, 2/3 c. corn meal, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. shortening and 1/2 c. milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Combine all ingredients, except wieners.
Mix until thin enough for dip batter.
Add more milk, if necessary.
Dip wieners into batter and fry in deep fat until browned.
Drain on towels and serve hot.
