Sift together the flour, salt and soda.
Cream shortening until fluffy.
Add eggs; beat until smooth.
Add flour; mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto greased baking sheet. Bake at 400Β° for about 12 minutes.
Makes about 60 cookies.
