Pretzel Salad
Pretzel Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 c. crushed pretzels, 3/4 c. sugar, 3/4 stick margarine, melted, 2 env. whipped topping and 1 c. cold milk, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.
In a bowl, combine, pretzels, sugar, and margarine, set aside 1/2 cup for topping.
Press the remaining mixture in an ungreased 13X9 pan.
In a mixing bowl, beat whipped topping mix, milk and vanilla on high speed for 4 minutes, or until soft peaks form.
Add creamed cheese and confectioners sugar; beat until smooth.
Spread half over crust.
Top with pie filling and then with remaining cream cheese mixture.
Sprinkle reserved pretzel mixture over top.
Refrigerate overnight.
