Made with 2 c. pretzels, finely crushed, 3/4 c. margarine, melted, 1 c. plus 3 tbsp. sugar, divided, 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened and 1 (8 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Mix together pretzels, margarine and 3 tablespoons sugar.
Pat into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake at 400Β° for 8 minutes.
Cool. Combine cream cheese, 1 cup sugar and frozen whipped topping; spread over pretzel crust.
Dissolve gelatin in the boiling water; stir in strawberries.
Cool until mixture begins to congeal. Spoon over cream cheese mixture.
Refrigerate overnight.
Cut into squares.
