Pretzel Salad
Pretzel Salad is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 3/4 c. crushed pretzels, 5 tbsp. sugar, 1 1/4 stick margarine, melted, 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened and 1 (8 oz.) cool whip, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Perfect for family dinners and special occasions.

Combine margarine with pretzels and 5 tablespoons sugar. Spread in bottom of 9 x 12-inch pan.
Put in 400Β° oven for 8 minutes, then cool.
Mix cream cheese with 1 cup sugar.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Spread over cooled pretzel layer.
Mix jello with 1 3/4 cups hot water.
Add strawberries; stir until berries have melted and jello starts to congeal.
Pour over cream cheese layer. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
