Pretzel Dessert
Pretzel Dessert is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. broken pretzels (not too fine), 3/4 c. oleo or butter, 3 tbsp. sugar, 8 oz. cream cheese and 1/2 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Mix pretzels, oleo and 3 tablespoons sugar together; press into a 9 x 13-inch pan (ungreased).
Bake for 10 minutes at 350Β°. Cool.
Cream together the cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and Cool Whip.
Mix together and spread over cooled pretzels.
Dissolve strawberry jello and boiling water.
Add strawberries.
Stir until it sets up a little.
Pour over cheese mixture; cool until set. Put Cool Whip on top.
