Preachers Delight
Preachers Delight is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 lb. vanilla wafers, 1/2 c. butter, 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 2 eggs, unbeaten and 1/2 pt. cream, whipped, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Crush wafers and spread half in buttered pan.
Cream butter, sugar and eggs well.
Pour this mixture over the crumbs.
Over this, spread whipped cream, sweetened a bit.
Over the cream, spread the crushed pineapple.
Cover with remaining wafer crumbs. Let refrigerate overnight.
Cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
