Preacher's Coming
Preacher'S Coming is an moderately easy dinner you can prepare in about 1 hour 44 minutes. Made with gal. vanilla ice cream, c. crushed vanilla wafers, sq. unsweetened chocolate, c. oleo and c. confectioners sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
π¨βπ³ Instructions
Put crushed wafers in ungreased 9 x 13 pan
Melt chocolate in 2/3 cup oleo
Stir in yogurt and 2 beaten egg yolks
Add nuts and vanilla
Fold in egg whites that have been stiffly beaten
Pour over crumbs and chill until firm
Top with 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream that has been softened
Sprinkle with 1/3 cup nuts
Drizzle with Chocolate Fudge Sauce (follows)
Cover and freeze
Cut into squares and serve.
