Pralines
Pralines is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 c. buttermilk, 1 tsp. baking soda, 3 c. sugar, 1 c. butter, melted and 2 tsp. light corn syrup, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Combine buttermilk and baking soda in a 5 qt. saucepan, stirring until soda is dissolved; add sugar, butter, corn syrup, and salt.
Bring mixture to a boil; cook, stirring constantly until mixture reaches soft ball stage (236°).
Remove from heat, and let stand until lukewarm (110°).
Add vanilla and pecans to candy; beat until mixture begins to thicken and loses its gloss. Drop by Tbsp. onto a lightly buttered baking sheet or waxed paper; let stand until firm.
Store in airtight container.
