Pralines
Pralines is an easy dinner. Made with 8 oz. half and half, 2 c. sugar, 1/2 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract and 2 c. pecan halves, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Ideal for meal prep and leftovers taste even better.

Mix sugar, baking soda and half and half in large saucepan on stove.
Bring to soft boil stage (240Β° on candy thermometer), stirring constantly.
Turn off stove; let set.
When settled, beat with electric mixer until smooth (it will be thin).
Add vanilla and pecans as it thickens.
Spoon out on wax paper.
Makes about 18 pralines.
