Powdered Sugar Cookie
Powdered Sugar Cookie is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1/2 c. soft oleo, 1 3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 egg and 1 c. nuts, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Great for entertaining guests or a cozy night in.

Cream butter and shortening; add powdered sugar and cream mixture.
Add egg, vanilla and almond extract.
Beat. Sift and add flour, soda and cream of tartar.
Stir in nuts.
Drop on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake 10 minutes at 400Β°.
While still hot, roll cookies in powdered sugar.
