Pound Cake

Cream butter, Crisco and sugar until sugar melts or dissolves. Add eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Add flour and milk alternately to creamed mixture.
Add flavoring.
Bake in preheated oven at 325Β° for 1 1/2 hours.
If oven bakes fast, bake for 1 1/4 hours.
