Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs, one a time, beating well after each addition.
Add milk and flour (sifted with salt) alternately, beginning and ending with flour.
Vanilla and lemon extracts.
Spoon into 10-inch tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours or until done.
