Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 sticks margarine, 1/2 c. crisco, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs and 3 c. plain flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Cream margarine, Crisco and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Mix well.
Add flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk.
Add vanilla and lemon.
Bake in tube pan which has been greased and floured.
Bake at 325Β° about 1 1/2 hours.
Test with pick.
