Pound Cake

Cream butter, sugar and shortening until fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add flour which has been sifted with baking powder.
Add milk.
Add flavoring; beat well.
Pour into greased and floured tube pan.
Cook at 350Β° for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
