Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 3 sticks (1 1/2 c.) margarine or butter, softened, 3 c. sugar, 5 eggs, well beaten, 3 c. all-purpose flour and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.

Preheat oven to 325Β°.
Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs. Blend flour, salt and baking powder.
Alternately add milk and flour mixture to creamed ingredients.
Stir in flavorings.
Pour in a 10-inch Bundt or tube pan that has been greased.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
