Pound Cake
Pound Cake is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 1/2 c. sugar, 3 sticks margarine (3/4 lb.), 3 c. flour, 7 large eggs or 9 small and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Packed with nutrients and delicious flavors.

Cream sugar and margarine.
Alternately add eggs and flour (add 1 egg, mix well, then add approx. 1/3 c. flour, mix well and continue until all eggs and flour are mixed).
Add flavorings and nuts.
Bake in a 12 c. tube pan that has been greased and floured.
Cut a ring of waxed paper to fit in the bottom of pan.
Bake 25 minutes at 275 degrees, then 60 minutes at 300 degrees.
Remove from pan immediately and wrap in foil.
