Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time.
Add baking powder, flavoring and Crisco.
Add flour alternately with the milk, starting and ending with flour.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at 300° to 325°.
Heat too high causes cake to crack on top.
Baking too long causes cake to be dry.
