Potatoes Laritan
Potatoes Laritan is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 2 lb. package frozen hash browns, 1/2 c. yellow onion, finely chopped, 1/4 c. green onions finely chopped (include some green tops for color), 1/4 tsp. pepper and 1 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Saute onions in 1/4 c. butter.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
In a large bowl, mix soup and sour cream.
Stir well but do not over-stir, as the cream will break down.
Stir in the onion mixture and add the potatoes.
Mix well and pour into a 13 x 9 baking dish.
Melt the remaining 1/4 c. butter and mix with the crushed corn flakes.
Sprinkle on top and bake at 350Β° for 45 minutes.
It bubbles up, so make sure the pan is deep enough.
