Potato Rusks
Potato Rusks is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 1 to 2 cakes dry yeast, dissolved in 1/4 c. water, 1 c. mashed potatoes, 1 c. potato water, 1 c. sugar and 3 eggs, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Mix the first four ingredients together.
Beat eggs, then add salt and shortening.
Mix with first mixture.
Then add flour and knead like bread.
Place in greased bowl.
Cover and keep punched down until you want to bake.
Then pinch off small pieces and work in a ball.
Place on greased pan close together.
Let raise. Bake at 400Β° for 10 to 15 minutes.
