Bring to a boil first 4 ingredients.

Allow to cool until lukewarm.

Add yeast mixture.

Add 4 cups flour sifted with baking powder and soda.

Mix well and set aside until double in size. Stir dough down.

Add salt and 3 cups flour.

Mix well, dusting board well with flour and lightly knead dough.

Place in well-greased container; put oil on top of dough.

Cover and put in refrigerator.

Make out as needed or they can be made out and frozen after dough is thoroughly chilled.

Will keep in freezer for a few days, but not too long.

Roll out thin, cut dough out and fold over.

Brush melted butter or oil in before folding.
