Potato Chocolate Cake
Potato Chocolate Cake is an impressive dinner. Made with 3/4 c. shortening and margarine, mixed, 2 c. sugar, 2 c. flour, 4 eggs and 2 tsp. baking powder, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. Bursting with flavor in every bite.

Cream shortening and margarine; add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat until light.
Add hot mashed potatoes and blend together.
Sift flour; measure and add salt, baking powder, chocolate and spices.
Sift again.
Add dry ingredients alternating with milk and vanilla.
Beat after each addition.
Fold in nuts.
Bake at 350Β° for 30 minutes for layers, 1 hour for loaf.
