Pot Roast
Pot Roast is an easy dinner. Made with 3 lb. rump, chuck or shoulder roast, 1/3 c. suet, 1/2 c. hot water, salt and pepper and flour, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A classic recipe that has been enjoyed for generations.

Rub meat with flour, salt and pepper.
Melt suet in a heavy kettle or Dutch oven.
Add meat; sear.
Add water, cover tightly and cook slowly about 4 hours or until tender.
More water may be used, if necessary.
Makes 8 servings.
