Place mushrooms, carrots and potatoes in the bottom of a Dutch oven or roasting pan.
Place roast on top of vegetables; spread mushroom soup over roast and sprinkle with dry onion soup mix. Cover and cook in a 300Β° oven for 2 to 3 hours or until it forks tender.
