Portuguese Biscuits
Portuguese Biscuits is an moderately easy dinner. Made with 5 lb. bag flour, 7 sticks margarine, 2 tbsp. baking powder, 1 tbsp. salt and 7 c. sugar, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A comforting dish that warms the soul.
Combine margarine, cream of coconut and anise flavoring.
Beat eggs with sugar and add to mixture.
Mix well.
Add baking powder and salt to flour.
Combine with first mixture and mix well.
Roll dough into pencil strips and form into small rings.
Bake at 375Β° for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes approximately 25 dozen.
Store in airtight containers or freeze in Ziploc bags.
