Brown the pork chops in the oil.
Put in bottom of a 1 1/2-quart casserole. Season.
Mix the rice, onion, water, salt and soup.
Pour evenly over the pork chops. Bake in a 325Β° oven for 1 hour or until meat and rice are done. Add more water, if necessary.
