Poppycock
Poppycock is an easy dinner. Made with 1 c. unpopped popcorn, 1 stick margarine or butter (1/2 c.), 1/2 c. white syrup, 1 c. white sugar and 1/2 tsp. salt, this recipe delivers authentic, satisfying flavors. A crowd-pleaser that never disappoints.

Pop the popcorn and set aside.
Melt butter; stir in syrup, sugar and salt.
Boil slowly, about 5 minutes.
Pour over popcorn. Mix until popcorn is well coated.
Stir in 1 cup of mixed nuts or salted peanuts if desired.
Place on cookie sheets and bake in oven at 250Β° for 1/2 hour.
Stir occasionally.
When done, spread out on waxed paper and cool.
Then break up into pieces.
